On August 19, 2013 Doyon Emerald and Alaska Anvil expanded their strategic alliance and merged their respective Alaska engineering and consulting operations to create Doyon Anvil, LLC, a joint venture company.
Doyon Emerald is the engineering arm of Doyon, Limited, the Native regional corporation for Interior Alaska. Doyon, Limited has more than 19,000 shareholders and was established under the 1971 Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. Doyon is one of the top 10 Alaskan-owned companies.
Established in 1984, Alaska Anvil Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Anvil Corporation, a 100% employee-owned corporation. Since 1971, Anvil has provided full-service engineering, procurement, and project management services throughout Alaska, the western United States, Rocky Mountain region, and Western Canada.
Doyon, Limited and Anvil have very similar corporate cultures with complementary experience and values. Both companies focus on developing long-term relationships with their clients and their employees.
